Do you have a set skin care routine? I have to admit that I do not have a set skin care routine. I have bounced between a few different brands and have yet stuck with one consistently. I do consistently wash and moisturize but that about sums up my skin care routine. I’ve seen all kinds of posts about how important it is to take care of your skin and I know I need to do better especially during these harsh winter months as they are drying on your skin and as I get older……
Derma E Skin Care Products . . . .
I found out that this company Derma E originated in a small health food store in Southern California! They have since grown and have become one of the largest natural facial care brands in the United States! What intrigued me to try Derma E skin care products was the fact that they are an eco-ethical skin care brand. What does that mean? Their products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free and do not contain soy, gluten, GMO ingredients, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, sodium lauryl sulfates, petrolatum, mineral oil or artificial colors! Their packaging is recyclable and also off set conventional electricity by using wind certificates.
Let’s review the products . . . .
Derma E sent me a few skin care products from their Hydrating line so today I am sharing my thoughts on them. The Derma E products that were sent are: Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Overnight Facial, Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Water Eye Gel, Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Gel Booster, Hydrating Day Cream, and Hydrating Night Cream.

Ultra Hydrating Overnight Facial
About the product
This product intrigued me because I have never tried anything like this before. I have tried traditional face masks, peels, etc but nothing that was left on overnight. The product has little beads that dissolved and it took a little while of gently patting my face for it to all absorb. I was pleasantly surprised that it did all absorb and as a side note start with a small amount not a generous amount because a little bit of product covered a lot. Once all the product felt like it had dried or absorbed, I went to bed and woke up with my skin feeling a little tighter and moisturized. I washed my face the next morning and my skin felt refreshed!

Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Water Eye Gel
About the product
This was my favorite product out of the five that I received. I really liked the convenience of the eye roller tube instead of using my fingers to apply the product. The skin under my eyes immediately felt cool and refreshed. I am not sure how many applications this small tube will provide but I felt I only needed a little bit for each application. Surprisingly the product did not irritate my eyes and it did not feel greasy or thick after applying.

Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Gel Booster
About the Product
This product is supposed to give an extra boost to hydrating your skin. I found it interesting as it comes in a dropper bottle and to be honest I have never used anything like it before. It is not too thick and applied easily, I just did not find it convenient nor something I thought I would incorporate into my everyday routine. I do believe that it provided extra hydration and if that was something I could not achieve with the other hydrating products then I would use this.

Ultra Hydrating Day Cream
About the Product
This day cream had a nice texture, not too thick and not too watery and felt great on my skin. It was light yet soothing. I wore it under my usual light day time make up and had no issues. I did smell a faint scent which is most likely from the Green Tea ingredient so if you are sensitive to that just take note.

Ultra Hydrating Night Cream
About the Product
This night time cream is slightly thicker than the day time cream. Once again I noticed a faint scent that I noticed from the day time cream which is most likely from the Green Tea ingredient. I also thought a little of this product went a long way in covering my face. I did notice my dry skin patches disappear after using this for a week.
Final Impression . . . .
Using all of these hydrating products highlighted the fact that I have not been doing a good job of moisturizing my skin because after just one week of using these products I noticed a big difference. My dry patches were just about gone and my overall face felt smoother. I was also pleasantly surprised that my skin seemed to absorb it all and did not get oily or greasy.
I hope this review has been helpful to you especially if you had never heard of Derma E skin care products or haven’t tried these specific products before. This was my first time using any of their products and I was honestly happy with them. If I had to rank them, my favorite Derma E skin care products from their hydrating line were: the Eye Gel Roller, the Overnight Facial followed by the Hydrating Day & Night Creams and lastly the Gel Booster.
